Secrets You Need To Know About Fat Loss

Fat loss is one of the hardest thing for anyone to do.  You eat right, exercise your butt off and still you see the unsightly jiggles in the mirror.  What is going on?

First of all, you don't have to be obsessive about losing fat.  If you are eating right and working out the way you are supposed to, the first thing a trainer would say is tighten your diet; cut out more carbs, eat more protein in smaller amounts five or six times a day and do more circuit training. This could turn into a full time job!

Thanks to modern science we are finding out some more truths about fat.  Perhaps these facts can help guide us to the right way to lose fat and the excess weight that may come with it.
  1. According to studies from the Toxicology Data Network of the National Library of Medicine, PCB's and dioxins stay in our bodies and cause problems that affect the hormones.  One of the most common health issues noted is hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism interferes with kidney function, causing fluid retention.  It affects your digestion and can cause constipation.  It is also known to slow metabolism and cause fatigue.  All of these problems can lead to easier weight gain, fat storage and makes it harder to lose the fat once packed on.
  2. Many environmental toxins are stored in fat cells and the tissue surrounding fatty areas.  Ongoing studies such as reported by the International Journal of Obesity, finds that these toxins are lipophylic, or fat loving.  They are resistant to metabolic breakdown.  This means, they store in your fat and don't want to leave. In fact, one study goes so far as to say that white adipose tissue (fat) is a reservoire for pollutants.  And we thought the body could detox itself, all this time.
  3. Studies on obesity are researching the effects of losing weight and fat and the hidden dangers as the stored toxins are released into an already sluggish body.  So now it seems that losing weight may even be detrimental to your health.  So what are we to do? Modern ideas are always found to be crazy at first, Like the idea of a body cleanse.  But cleansing and detoxifying the body is not such a far-fetched idea.  Think about the above facts; environmental toxins are stored in fat and they resist our own body's attemt to break them down.   It seems like helping the body with cleansing is right on track. Our bodies do have organs in place to help detoxify things that are not supposed to be in us.  But studies are showing that these toxins do not leave as easily as once thought.  We are bombarded on a daily basis through our food, drink and air.  Studies in Texas show that some areas of people, land, water and even birds have high levels of DDT, even though it was banned in the 70's.
  4. Using a fat loss cleanse or a weight loss detox is a new twist on losing fat for the future.  Detox diets can work with your bodies' circadian rhythm to strengthen digestion, metabolism and liver. Body cleansing supplements help your body work harder to dislodge environmental toxins and ensure they leave the body instead of wreaking havoc.  There are also many fat loss supplements on the market that are known to help the body detoxify and eliminate toxins and the fat they are stored in.
Instead of the usual diet and exercise, check out a fat loss cleanse and see if it may be your answer.  Thousands upon thousands of people all around the world find it helps them.  It may be just what you are looking for.

Are You Really Hungry?

So what are the common signs of genuine physical hunger, perhaps you don't have to think deep about it because technically in some point in our lives we felt hungry, this may include a rumbling stomach, irritability, headache, dizziness and difficulty concentrating. These symptoms are signs that our body is asking us to feed them food to keep its vital parts nourished and functioning well.

However, in some point or another, we tend to ignore these symptoms causing our blood sugar to plummet dangerously, and if you are in a weight loss, going through the process without enough food could diminish your impulse control. In supplementary words, if your gym instructor starts looking like a walking chicken leg, it will be difficult to control what we eat and how fast we eat.

On the other hand, a craving does not shows the same symptoms as hunger, it can easily go away if we immediately shifted our attention to something else. Cravings can come from different factors such as, stress, lack of sleep, depression, boredom and even grief or it can also be influence by something you saw on the television or from someone else. Cravings is typically a body's way to reversed a distractive behavior such as stress that is why a lot of overweight people confess that they eat out of these emotions mention above.

So how do we counter cravings? Typically, to counter its attack you have to acknowledge scenario and circumstances that drawn you to cravings, for example, you love reading food magazines, a hobby like this can trigger cravings so much true to the saying ‘you eat first with you eyes'. But again, cravings can be trigger by distractive emotions, the best way to address this is to talk to someone whom you really trust, share your thoughts and fears or you can pay a visit to a professional councilor to help you figure out the mess you think is out of your grasp.

Another way to suppress cravings is to eat spicy food with red-chili pepper since recent studies show that red-chili pepper contains a substance that can suppress our appetite, which lead to weight loss. However, if you are not a big spicy-food fan, you can still benefit from chili pepper by having yourself a concentrated form of this in a pill.

Genetic causes:
Depression can be hereditary and run in families. Several suicides occurring in one family is not uncommon. Depression can exist in families with no history of depression.

Hypothyroidism

Hypothyroidism is a malfunction of the thyroid gland in which the gland stops producing the normal amount of hormones. It is also known as underactive thyroid. The thyroid is a very important part of the machine that is our body and if it is not producing enough hormones the body is greatly affected. The symptoms can vary from person to person and there are a few different things that may be the cause of this disorder.

First of all, how do you know you have hypothyroidism? It's definitely tricky sometimes to connect a whole bunch of symptoms that could be individually be easily shrugged off. When it comes to having an underactive thyroid it'll usually come down to a combination of a few of these symptoms and also the consistency of them to consider. Regardless, if you have any medical concerns it is always best to consult a doctor even if it's just for your peace of mind.

Quite often one of the main symptoms of an underactive thyroid is a complete lack of energy. The other obvious sign is an enlarged gland or lump where your thyroid gland is situated. If you are getting a good amount of sleep and really struggling with exhaustion and tired muscles this could be an indicator. Also dry skin and hair or brittle nails and hair can be present. Another symptom is memory loss, lack of concentration and focus. Other most common symptoms are weight gain, low libido and even infertility to name a few.

If you are concerned that you are suffering from some of these symptoms and would like to be checked a simple visit to your local doctor should provide you with the answers you're looking for. Once you've had a chat with your doctor about your symptoms and history, he'll perform a physical examination and proceed to take some blood from you. This blood will be tested to see if you have hypothyroidism.
If you don't then you can eliminate this possibility and continue the search to find out what's causing your symptoms. If the blood test comes back and you do have an underactive thyroid, then your doctor has a few options for treatment. Depending on the cause he may place you on some sort of hormone replacements to counter for the lack of thyroid hormones being released. He may also arrange for you to speak with a health professional who specialises in diet and exercise to specifically improve hypothyroidism.

A certain amount of diet and exercise can help with the main issue of underactive thyroid. Certain alterations can also relieve symptoms. One of the main causes of this disorder is a lack of iodine in the diet. This is found in various products such as bread and seafood. Exercise can help with transforming one hormone into another one that has a stronger and more important function. This should happen naturally on it's own but does not so much when suffering from an underactive thyroid.

Human Papilloma Virus

Human papillomaviruses (HPVs) are a group of more than 100 related viruses. They are called papillomaviruses because certain types may cause warts, or papillomas, which are benign (noncancerous) tumors. The HPVs that cause the common warts which grow on hands and feet are different from those that cause growths in the throat  or genital area. Some types of HPV are associated with certain types of cancer. These are called high-risk, oncogenic, or carcinogenic HPVs.

Genital HPV infections are very common and are sexually transmitted. Of the more than 100 types of HPV, more than 30 types can be passed from one person to another through sexual contact. Although HPVs are usually transmitted sexually, doctors cannot say for certain when infection occurred. Most HPV infections occur without any symptoms and go away without any treatment over the course of a few years. However, HPV infection sometimes persists for many years, with or without causing cell abnormalities. This can increase a woman’s risk of developing cervical cancer.
